“Isn’t that weird, we’ve made nature against the law. That’s how un-natural we’ve become.”
-Bill Hicks, Relentless, 1992
Psilocybin, the unbelievable compound within ‘Magic Mushrooms - demonised by Governments the world over. Mushrooms belong to the group of drugs known as psychedelics - their documented effects being a change in perception, a distortion of reality, and sometimes hallucinations.
Some folk might just call this ‘Friday night down the pub, after 10 stellas.’ You wouldn’t want to be tripping balls as you’re sat at your desk, typing away at the never-ending box of emails that won’t go away; or while operating heavy machinery in that repetitive manner that has you struggling to stay awake - that’s a given.
But here’s the thing. There’s more to life than just being part of the ant farm - being another cog in a machine, churning out crap that other people don’t need. And then to get upset about your place in this awful jigsaw of people, being pulled in by human drama, becoming a subject to the downward forces. We get a glimpse of a greater perspective, that there is something more to life when we travel, when we meet new people, when we are moved by amazing music. And some folks get it while imbibing, under a full moon in the Arizona desert:
“Your mind completely opens up to the true nature of our existence, which is that we are not bodies, that we are a pure, loving spirit created by God. That God is love and there is nothing but love, being all-encompassing, has no opposite. You are completely forgiven on all things, there’s nothing you’ve ever done that has ever swayed God’s pure and un-conditional love for you. And you realize that eternity and peace and heaven is our inheritance, all of us are going to make it there.” - Bill Hicks
“It’s Just A Ride.” A simple reminder. Enjoy it while it’s here.

At THTC we try and minimise the amount of plastic we use on a daily basis, whether that be choosing biodegradable packaging to send orders or the type of ink we use on our t-shirts. We all have the choice to reduce plastic consumption within our own lives and make conscious choices to switch with alternatives.
Today we’re going to talk about how we can reduce our own plastic consumption for beginners. Some of you may already be doing these steps, and if you are, please reach out to us to let us know how you’re getting on, or if you want to try to reduce down, please continue reading.
